What a cool idea! Although the game is a little janky and wonky, it's still a very good idea for a puzzle game, and implemented well!

I could blame PuzzleScript for the janky-wonkiness, but I think it's more because of the time limit. Thank you for your review :)

I'm a sucker for surrealism.
I'm a sucker for point n' click adventures.
I'm a sucker for horror stuff.

Combined, this game creates the ultimate sucker-bait, and it was amazing. But more than the fact that from the start I was intrigued. The game itself was fantastic, creepy, weird as hell, and hard as shit. The fact that this is your first game is simply amazing, and I can't wait to see more from you, even if it's something new.

Antumbra 2 would be appreciated, though. Thank you.

Vilehead responds:

Thank you Shifty! :D I've actually started working on Antumbra 2 as we speak. But I am still looking for some funding, I would like A2 to be far better and polished then A1. But this takes a lot of time. And time is money.

This really shouldn't be as entertaining as it is. A fun timewaster, I spent five minutes on it. Help me.

Absolutely no challenge at all. No hallways, and the ghosts all merely move in one place, and are very easy to avoid.

It's... fine.

The images are mostly very pretty, but the compression on the pictures used can vary from "fine" to "facebook repost / saved thumbnail." The gameplay is rather bland, it's mainly a series of fetch quests around the map.
Which brings me to the biggest gripe: the navigation. It's almost impossible for me to really visualize where I am, I just click the navigation arrows until I can't rotate anymore.

Overall, a sub-par point-and-click adventure game.

I absolutely adore the concept of a Tales From the Crypt-style point-and-click adventure, but this just doesn't do it as well as it could. Creepo looks great, and he supplies one or two excellent bad jokes. And the art is very nice, especially the backgrounds. However, the puzzles could be a bit harder, and, as Geminate said, it just wasn't spooky at all. At no point does Crazy Mason make some sort of ominous appearance, and you don't even know what he looks like until the end.

Overall, a good concept that needs to be executed a bit better.

The game does not fill the whole frame. Please consider making a game that's a proper size.

Either it's just me, or the game doesn't work at all.

This is very good! It delivers on all the things it says, bringing back memories of Metal Slug and other such games. Although basing some of the animations on the physics engine can result in some very odd-looking animations (the wolf, although insanely cool, looks a little odd at times when running), the overall package is extremely enjoyable, and I'll probably buy the full version as soon as I can!

A nice little game, I quite enjoy games of this genre. The only problem I have with this is one simple thing: a majority of the game seems to be a simple platformer. The mechanics of the TwinBots are almost totally ignored for the first half of the game!
And, as I've seen below, sometimes your bot gets stuck in walls.
But overall, I had fun, and do want to finish the game. Actually, a sequel might be nice, too.
